Working from home: how to create good management policies
11/09/2020
Katlijn Haesebrouck, together with her colleagues Alexander Brüggen and Christoph Feichter, have been researching the topic of telecommuting. Their research looks at which types of people prefer to telecommute and how location (home or office) influences work behaviour.
The results provide interesting insights for companies about the type of employees they may attract and retain when telecommuting possibilities are offered. Designing the right management control practices which better align with the characteristics of the workforce can be of real benefit to companies as they navigate big organisational changes and create a future-proof workforce.
This video is part of our series ‘Talking Business and Economics’ in which experts share their insights and knowledge on different topics in the field of business and economics. Each month will see a new publication on this platform.
