About Piet
Piet Eichholtz is Professor of Real Estate Finance and Real Estate Investments at Maastricht University. In the past, he worked at the University of Amsterdam and ABP, among others. He is a partner in his own company Finance Ideas, in which he advises semi-public institutions on real estate financing. The combination of practice and research ensures that Piet Eichholtz has in-depth knowledge and experience with real estate and financing. His research focuses on real estate finance, a specialisation within the field of finance and investment. His work includes mortgages, real estate investment funds, the development of real estate prices over the years and the way the value of commercial real estate changes around the world. He obtained his doctorate in 1993 from Maastricht University.
