About Clemens
Clemens Kool is Professor of Macroeconomics and International Monetary Economics at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics (SBE). He is also the head of the Department of Macro, International and Labour Economics (MILE) at SBE.
Clemens has published widely in national and international journals. His research and teaching interests focus on issues of monetary theory and policy, European monetary and financial integration, the design of the international financial system, the functioning of international financial markets, banks and other financial organisations and the role of financial regulation and supervision in this respect.
