Good customer experiences improve satisfaction, loyalty and trust, but are challenging to achieve in today’s competitive landscapes. New technologies, digitalisation and data science provide new opportunities to create experiences that engage customers and create a competitive advantage.
During this Breakfast Booster, Lisa Brüggen presented several ways in which smart customer interactions can improve your customer relations, but she also discussed the pitfalls of digital customer interactions.
Lisa Brüggen is Professor of Financial Services in the Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department at Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics (SBE). She is also a Principal Investigator at BISS, the Brightlands Institute for Smart Society. Prof. Dr. Brüggen is an internationally recognised expert in services marketing and financial well-being. As such, she has been invited to speak on these topics at academic and industry conferences throughout the world. She has received several awards, including the Emerging Scholar Award from the American Marketing Association.
This session was offered in partnership with the Brightlands Institute for Smart Society (BISS) and Brightlands Smart Services Campus.

It has been set up by Maastricht University in close collaboration with the Province of Limburg and the pension fund APG, and is located on the Brightlands Smart Services Campus in Heerlen, the Netherlands.
