Products can be imitated relatively quickly, so the value element in a service innovation has a longer competitive advantage. Customers have so much choice already and even when those customers are satisfied, Dominik Mahr suggests that organisations need to find a way to tell a different story.

The value of a certain service or product is now the key. Organisations need to innovate with services to survive.
